Five useful care rules
- Never add water. Use a dry vase and keep stems away from damp surfaces.
- Avoid strong direct sun. Bright indirect light is gentler on colour.
- Keep humidity low. Bathrooms, steam and humidifiers are poor locations.
- Dust gently. Use a soft brush or low, cool air from a distance; stop if the material moves too much.
- Move the base. Carry the vase or tied stems instead of holding the flower heads.
If a stem bends or breaks
Trim the damaged section or move the shorter stem to a smaller dry vase. Do not soak or steam it back into shape.
Safety
Dried botanicals can be delicate and combustible. Keep them away from candles, burners, heaters, pets and small children.
